Sr. Technician - Oscilloscope

Job Description: The candidate will work as a technician in a lab environment with a team of engineers that are responsible for validating Intel’s silicon products.  For this position, the candidates will include, but not limited to: 

Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems & test equipment used in a validation testing of Intel's silicon products.
Using, building, & maintaining Windows Operating Systems for validation activities.  
Setup, maintain & support test equipment such as oscilloscopes, Digital Multi-Meter, Load equipment, and power supplies.  
Support Lab operations such as shipping/receiving, recycling, procurement of equipment, etc.  
Basic lab network maintenance. 
Develop & maintain technical documents and best known processes.  
 
Qualifications: Candidate should possess a technical degree or diploma and 2-3 years hands-on industry experience, with emphasis in testing, validation, debugging, and/or failure analysis.  Additional qualifications include: 

Experience & ability to set-up validation platforms & debug equipment. 
Experience using, building, & maintaining computers that runs on Windows Operating System. 
Experience with debug equipment such as oscilloscopes, Digital Multi-Meter, Load equipment, and power supplies.  
Ability to follow instructions executing tests on a computer system environment. 
Ability to take on work requests, follow-up with the requestor, & work independently to complete the task.
Strong team player & ability to work in a dynamic team environment supporting multiple engineers. 
Strong English written & verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift 35 pounds is required. 
Experience with soldering and re-work is a plus
