Job Description

As the People and Culture Lead, you will oversee the strategy and implementation of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention across our team of 80 people (and growing!) globally. It’s an exciting time to come onboard being a hyper growth company and there are plenty of areas for you to get your teeth sunk into such as creating a culture of learning and implementing an employee wellness program. 

Although you will manage the overall strategy of hiring top talent, you will have a TA Partner reporting into you who will actively source talent and manage the recruitment process for all regions. 

Here’s a little more of what you can expect in the role:

  • Manage the pre and onboarding of all new employees across the Xref group

  • Implement and manage a company wide  learning and development scheme to create a culture of learning

  • Build strong and effective relationships with leaders across the business to help drive and collaborate with P&C practices

  • Manage engagement strategies such as quarterly awards, walking challenges, help organise team events etc

  • Look at how we can utilise our internal communication platform, Workplace, to drive company wide engagement and collaboration even further

  • Ensure all exiting employees receive a consistent offboard and conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to line management and leadership.

Qualifications

What can you bring to Xref?
 

  • Previous experience leading a People and Culture or Talent Acquisition operation

  • Substantial knowledge and proven experience in a broad range of contemporary people, culture and development practises and trends

  • Ability to drive change company wide 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to partner and influence senior leadership

  • Proven strategic management and contribution to achieving organisational strategy

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage varied deadlines and competing demands

  • Experience working in a startup culture is desirable, but not essential 

  • Ability to work autonomously and motivate yourself to maintain a proactive approach

  • Enjoy collaborative working and being an engaged member of the team 

  • Passionate about driving exceptional employee experience practices from recruiting to offboarding.
