This is a great opportunity to lead a Software QA function on SDLC projects for two separate products (Xref and RapidID). It's a busy role with the release of some exciting new products and the usual maintenance of our platforms. 

What you can expect your weeks to be filled with:

• Lead QA across both the Xref and RapidID platforms including test scripting, data migration, test executions, automation and API awareness

• Create risk mitigation plans to avoid impact on software releases that can be invoked should risks arise throughout testing 

• Mentor and develop the QA team - 2 testers

• Work with the development team to perform root cause analysis

• Work closely with the data team to test reports generated for stakeholders within the Xref group

• Be the SME and interface between the development team and the wider business.

This opportunity will suit a Senior Tester (manual and automation) with exposure to leading small teams on SDLC projects.

We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:

• You consider yourself an expert with Selenium, Java and JIRA (essential)
• Previously lead or mentored junior team members - ideally you'll have been senior / lead for 4 years
• Leading SDLCs across test scripting, data migration, test executions, automation and API awareness 
• Experience working on Web Application and API testing
• Exposure with Agile methods and processes
• Proven experience in end to end application testing, performance and non-functional testing
• Analysis skills with the ability to gather requirements, assess current to target state requirement (as-is vs to-be assessment)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A creative thinker with the ability to develop new approaches and solutions
• A real team player who thrives in a collaborative team.
