As we continue to grow our international brand, we need to ensure all languages we post on the platform are translated accurately for the local user. This is an exciting and challenging global role within the Xref product development team.  

Responsibilities:

• Own and coordinate all aspects of the localisation process and translations of all existing and future text of the Xref platform - such as French, Norwegian, German, and others
• Ensure translators have sufficient up-to-date information, screenshots and context to be able to translate correctly and accurately
• Develop and improve current localisation process and strategies
• Provide quality control by performing internal reviews for content after translation
• Manage localisation budget
• Identify and solve localisation issues
• Work with legal teams and translation agencies to ensure accuracy of translations of legal text
• From time to time work with Marketing on localisation projects

We are looking for someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented and who enjoys working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders globally. The role requires a basic understanding of linguistic and daily management of technical and visual improvisation of translations, processes and tools.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree (Linguistics and Business or equivalent)
• Knowledge of one or more non-English languages, such as Norwegian, French, Spanish, Polish and others 
• Basic knowledge of software development process or practices would be beneficial
• Proficiency in translation memory tools, such as Smartling - essential
• Proven abilities in project planning
• Problem-solving capabilities
• Detail-oriented
• You enjoy being a collaborative team player.
