Job Description
As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll be joining a small team of 7 python developers which is part of our larger development team (20). We are an agile team and you'll be working closely with our Testing, Product Devemopment and Data teams to ensure new features, the existing apps and new products are completed on time and of the highest quality.
We are looking for someone who is adaptable and can work on multiple projects simultaneously. We run 2 weekly Agile releases so you will see your hard work come to fruition immediately.
Qualifications
We'd love to speak to you if you are a Senior Backend Developer (python) who is looking to join an innovative team where you can enjoy autonomy and a variety of work on multiple, industry leading projects across new products and features.
Must have a strong understanding and practical experience of Python, Angular and Django (essential)
Solid experience working with REST API backend frameworks such as Django
Strong understanding of Javascript technologies, especially Angular
In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
Familiarity with AWS services
Analytical thinker with a problem-solving aptitude
Ability to work autonomously as well as being a key team player in an agile and fast moving start-up environment
Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, is a bonus
Full work rights in Australia (Citizenship / Permanent Residence)
