Job Description

Thanks to continued growth our global finance team is looking for a graduate accountant to fill a newly created position supporting primarily our Australian team (but also working on global tasks). 

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to get exposure across all facets of a global commercial finance team and to work directly with our CFO.

 

What can you expect?

  • Supporting the daily reconciliation of company bank accounts, credit cards and travel cards within Xero

  • Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable duties

  • Supporting payroll, controlling and processing employee’s expense claims

  • Customer cooperation and internal communication with sales/customer success team

  • Assisting with month end close process

  • Assisting with preparation of internal financial reports for management

  • Assisting with maintenance of regional and divisional budgets

  • Other duties as required

 

The role will continue to develop with new responsibilities being assigned as existing tasks are mastered.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Finance/Accounting focused degree or have completed your degree and undertaking your professional qualifications (ie, CA, CPA)
  • Attention to detail, multi tasking and ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to thrive in an ever changing environment

  • The ability to work as part of a team, both face to face and remote whilst being self motivated

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with diverse community groups and other stakeholders

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
