Job Description
Thanks to continued growth our global finance team is looking for a graduate accountant to fill a newly created position supporting primarily our Australian team (but also working on global tasks).
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to get exposure across all facets of a global commercial finance team and to work directly with our CFO.
What can you expect?
Supporting the daily reconciliation of company bank accounts, credit cards and travel cards within Xero
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable duties
Supporting payroll, controlling and processing employee’s expense claims
Customer cooperation and internal communication with sales/customer success team
Assisting with month end close process
Assisting with preparation of internal financial reports for management
Assisting with maintenance of regional and divisional budgets
Other duties as required
The role will continue to develop with new responsibilities being assigned as existing tasks are mastered.
Qualifications
- Completion of Finance/Accounting focused degree or have completed your degree and undertaking your professional qualifications (ie, CA, CPA)
Attention to detail, multi tasking and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to thrive in an ever changing environment
The ability to work as part of a team, both face to face and remote whilst being self motivated
Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with diverse community groups and other stakeholders
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
