Job Description
You’ll join the Xplor Pay .NET Team which provides a full stack payment processing and acquiring platform to integrators, partners, and merchants. Whether small and independent or large franchises, we build services that customers can rely on. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, working with Product Owners, Business Analysts and others to help deliver and support our Merchant Onboarding system, Partner Portal, and Supporting APIs.

- Hands on problem-solving attitude with the ability to generate ideas/solutions and adapt and learn new technologies on the job.
- Build an innovative product with Microsoft technologies, from back-end to front-end.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
- Refactor existing code, write unit tests and review other teammates' code.
- Diagnose problems and defects by collecting information, finding root causes, and fixing them.
- Conduct peer reviews for other members of the development team, ensuring that project conventions are adhered to, and that requirements are correctly implemented.
- Participate in full-life cycle software development.
- Review functional and technical documentation and improve where needed.
- Have a keen eye for improvement in scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Involve and engage with other developers and other teams to motivate and connect with others.
- Mentoring junior team members and guiding them towards raising their own software quality standards.
- Estimate, plan, and implement new features in collaboration with product and design.
- Code based on standards and best practices provided by your team lead.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and technology developments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on development using Microsoft .Net technologies including C# over Microsoft SQL data repositories, .Net core 2.0 framework and higher.
- Deep experience building modern web applications using Angular (9+) and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture, component-based design, state management, and reusable UI patterns.
- Experience developing responsive, performant, and user-friendly interfaces using modern HTML, CSS, and web standards.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs, including designing, developing, and documenting API integrations.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript debugging, browser developer tools, and front-end performance optimization.
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience with version control systems, preferably git-based
- Experience with relational databases and stored procedures
- Experience with developing microservices and distributed systems development
- Experience with message queues and event-driven architecture
- Experience with cloud-based development patterns
- Experience with unit testing
- Experience with distributed system architecture environments.
- Experience with Azure development is a plus
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development practices, including the use of tools such as GitHub Copilot or other AI-based developer productivity tools to enhance code quality, efficiency, and problem solving.
- Previous experience working in merchant credit card processing systems.
- Contribute to analysis of software projects including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain documentation for developed APIs.
- Familiarity with SCRUM activities.

The average base salary is $120-130,000 and is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
