Salary up to $120k plus 15% bonus and  benefits

A  Embedded Software Engineer will lead the development of firmware and low-level software on company’s embedded autosteering systems.  Embedded systems include support of board support packages including RTOS integration, driver development, and debug of hardware/software interfaces for agricultural vehicles.  .

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience or a related Masters degree with 3 years professional experience
• Three (3) years of experience writing performance critical code in resource-limited environments, including low power, low memory, restricted bandwidth, CPU, etc.
• At least three (3) years software development experience with C/C++
• Demonstrated experience in embedded real-time systems development, including requirement capture, design and coding, and verification
• Experience se kernel debuggers, system dumps, and assembly language, as well as higher level languages.
• Experience writing, modifying, and debuging software for embedded devices
• Connect hardware and software domains through use of processor register maps and interrupt routines
• Knowledge of real-time time schedulers and operating systems

Desired Qualifications

• Experience using Configuration Management tools (e.g., Confluence, Subversion, GIT, etc.)
• Understanding of software development standards and processes
• Understanding of software lifecycle management
• Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization, coordination and time management skills
• Strong analytical and interpretation skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Project leadership experience
