Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced Event Marketing Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute Xapien’s conference & trade show presence; self-hosted live events; and virtual events such as webinars and virtual conferences
  • This will include drafting the copy for speaker bids and promotional blurbs
  • You will schedule, coordinate and execute on a series of self-hosted live and virtual events from industry advisory boards to webinar events. This will include speaker recruitment, technology set up, logistics coordination, and event promotion/invitations
  • You will be responsible for prepping Xapien representatives to attend events and orchestrating pre and post event communications across the go to market team
  • You will own and keep up-to-date documentation for all event management processes
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Comms & Marketing, and working closely with our Content Manager and designer, you will own the annual event plan including identifying potential events to attend, evaluating the business fit and potential ROI, submitting speaking bids, and making recommendations on event presence and budget
  • You will manage our events budget and ensure that spending stays within budget, and track the results of our event investments to ensure that we are generating a positive return on our activities
  • Build buzz and ensure engagement at our events by orchestrating compelling marketing communications before during and after the event

Qualifications

  • Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, marketing, and project orchestration
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of event management experience
  • Experience using Hubspot workflows and Zoom webinars, or a similar webinar platform
  • Self-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

We operate a hybrid working model where our team spends 2-3 days a week working from our dedicated office base in WeWork Moorgate. Other days can be spent working from home or in the office - it's up to you!
