  • Own the global Quality Management System and ensure consistent, effective deployment across product development, manufacturing, suppliers, distribution and customer-facing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality, regulatory and industry requirements, including relevant ISO standards and sector-specific expectations for Industrial Technology, Healthcare and Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment markets.
  • Establish global quality objectives, metrics and management-review routines; provide clear insight into performance, systemic risks, trends and corrective actions to the Executive Leadership Team.

  • Maintain an effective global audit and compliance programme, ensuring findings are addressed sustainably and best practices are shared across the organisation.
  •  Act as the senior quality representative with key customers, certification bodies and other external stakeholders, and provide independent challenge on decisions that could affect product quality, safety or compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
  • Significant senior quality leadership experience in a complex, international manufacturing organisation, ideally within electronics, power conversion or another highly engineered and regulated environment.
  • Proven success in defining and deploying a global quality strategy and operating model across multiple sites, regions and product lines.
  • Deep knowledge of Quality Management Systems, relevant ISO standards, audit and regulatory compliance, supplier quality, new product introduction and product lifecycle quality.
  • Strong command of quality and continuous-improvement methods such as APQP, FMEA, control plans, SPC, 8D, root-cause analysis, Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead major customer escalations, improve supplier and manufacturing performance, and deliver measurable reductions in defects and cost of poor quality.
  • Commercially astute and data-driven, with the ability to translate complex quality risks and trends into clear business priorities and decisions.
  • A credible, collaborative and influential leader who can challenge constructively, build alignment across cultures and functions, and communicate effectively with executives, customers and technical teams.
  • Proven experience building high-performing global teams, developing talent and leading organisational and cultural change.
