Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all incoming material quality control, qualification( First Article) and quality problem. Supervise team to meet group goal and drive continuous improvement among cross-functional team for incoming material quality control.
- Establish quality control or inspection plan for incoming material. This includes but the not limited to establish of new inspection/test method, defined of sampling plan and procedure accordingly.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance at incoming quality inspection gate such as monitoring of incoming Lot Acceptance Rate trends and drive for continuous improvement at suppliers to achieve target goal.
- Support new material qualification processes when there is new supplier sources, new NPI, design optimization or supplier process change.
- Responsible for applicable regulatory and quality system requirements, including but not limited to ISO 9001and ISO 13485.
- Provides training for subordinates and or other stake holders/contractors (if any), in the Quality Management Systems, where necessary. Manage daily activities to IQA Inspectors / Technicians on QI, QN, FAI
- Recruit and maintain high-caliber staff appropriate to business circumstances.
- Lead MRB for non-conforming materials and ensure timely disposition on materials.Coordinate quality issue related to incoming problem with the warehouse, purchasing, engineering and supplier when necessary
- Follow up with supplier on the SCAR.
- To carry out assignments and assist QA Manager/Director and above in overall quality assurance activities as per required.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Tertiary education
- Have at least 4 years of electronics manufacturing experience.
- English fluent communication.
- Familiar with the ISO series system.
- The implementation of the IPC-610 class 2 & IPC 600 to meet production requirements.
- Participated in the training of SPC/ISO/Lean
- Experience using statistical techniques (SPC's, Gauge R & R).
- Training on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) .
