Job Description

  • Operated and maintained all facility systems, including electrical (HV/LV), generators/UPS, HVAC, compressed air, N2 generation, plumbing, fire protection, forklifts, and building services.
  • Led a 24/7 technician team and executed preventive maintenance according to the master plan.
  • Managed vendor service contracts and ensured high‑quality maintenance and timely contract renewals.
  • Handled troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and reporting of facility issues.
  • Controlled maintenance budgets and coordinated with Purchasing and Finance for technical specifications and competitive quotations.
  • Planned and forecast annual facility budgets and long‑term cost requirements.
  • Ensured availability of spare parts and consumables for maintenance activities.
  • Implemented improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and energy savings; achieved weekly utility KPI targets.
  • Supported Engineering teams in planning costs, timelines, and layouts for new line setups and building renovations.
  • Worked with Admin, HR, and EHS to ensure plant safety, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Developed skill‑up programs and manage the work schedules for technicians
  • Optimized spare‑parts management.
  • Ensured timely submission of daily/weekly/monthly utilities supply reports to management.
  • Led the firefighting team and ensured full compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Superior/Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facility systems within a manufacturing environment (electronics industry experience is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a medium-sized team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
