Job Description

SQL Data Warehouse Engineer

We’re looking for a seasoned professional with 5+ years of hands-on experience managing SQL Data Warehouse environments in Azure. You’ll play a key role in ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability across our BI landscape.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer and optimize our SQL Data Warehouse and Azure Data Factory environments.
  • Write high-performance SQL code, leveraging advanced techniques like looping logic, indexing, and temporary tables.
  • Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with BI Developers to build robust data foundations for analytics and reporting.
  • Design and maintain secure, scalable database structures aligned with business KPIs.
  • Develop and implement data quality techniques to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Work with ETL tools and integrate data from platforms like SAP, Salesforce, and other ERP systems.
  • Apply row-level security and manage access controls via Active Directory.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and data privacy standards.

 

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • MUST HAVE at least 5 years of experience in managing a SQL Data Warehouse environment in Azure.
  • Deep technical knowledge of the Azure ecosystem, including Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of SQL security, performance tuning, and data governance.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven environments with tight project timelines.
