Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support production/manufacturing troubleshoot failed units from both production.
- Analyzed and recommend corrective action in case of any design failure.
- Compile failure analysis report for giving feedback to supplier / R&D for appropriate actions.
- Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using quality tools or similar techniques.
- Assist Test Engineering in debugging NPI products/risk-build models.
- Participate in troubleshooting and trial run of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Analyse and recommend improvements to all production process and methods to facilitate quality improvement regarding to testing.
- Control stock of testing spare part / equipment to ensure NOT causing line down.
- Assist production to ensure debug WIP are kept to minimum, and track aging time of debug WIP.
- Help quality team to provide failure analysis and corrective action of RMA failures, and implement corrective action on existing products.
- Work with test equipment suppliers on proper maintenance and upgrade of software/firmware.
Qualifications
- University degree or technical graduate major in Electronics.
- Experience creating tests/repair for a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
- Experience in working as repair technician or equivalent.

- Good organisational skills, able to handle a broad and complex workload.
- Clear, logical thought and a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is an advantage but not necessary.
- Works well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in troubleshooting PCBA & using meters / equipment for measuring PCBA.
