Job Description

Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for reviewing and processing adjustments for missing hours worked.
  • Interacting with and answering questions from department timekeepers.
  • Resolving disputes related to employee inquiries.
  • Calculating and processing retroactive payroll adjustments.
  • Processing termination payment
  • Review payroll registers
  • Verify the setup information in time and attendance system.

Qualifications

  • Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Law and Government — Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules etc related to wage payments.
  • Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and their applications.
  • Accounting software — Oracle / Peoplesoft HR
  • Spreadsheet software — Microsoft Excel
  • Time and Attendance software — Kronos
  • Word processing software — Microsoft Word
