Job Description
Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for reviewing and processing adjustments for missing hours worked.
- Interacting with and answering questions from department timekeepers.
- Resolving disputes related to employee inquiries.
- Calculating and processing retroactive payroll adjustments.
- Processing termination payment
- Review payroll registers
- Verify the setup information in time and attendance system.
Qualifications
- Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Law and Government — Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules etc related to wage payments.
- Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and their applications.
- Accounting software — Oracle / Peoplesoft HR
- Spreadsheet software — Microsoft Excel
- Time and Attendance software — Kronos
- Word processing software — Microsoft Word
