Job Description
The Lounge Host Person is responsible for delivering a seamless and engaging guest arrival experience within a Wynn Las Vegas lounge environment. This role combines elevated hospitality with a dynamic, social atmosphere, ensuring efficient guest flow while providing attentive, personalized service.
The Lounge Host serves as the first point of contact for guests and works closely with management, VIP services, and front-of-house teams to create a welcoming, high-energy, and polished environment consistent with Wynn’s service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Arrival
- Greet guests with warmth, confidence, and professionalism, creating a strong first impression
- Maintain an upbeat, engaging presence aligned with the social energy of the lounge environment
- Recognize repeat and VIP guests and personalize interactions whenever possible
- Ensure all arrivals and departures are handled with efficiency and attention to detail
Reservations & Seating Management
- Manage reservations, guest lists, and walk-in traffic in a fast-paced lounge setting
- Coordinate seating arrangements, bottle service tables, and high-demand areas
- Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate realistic wait times
- Strategically manage floor flow to optimize both guest experience and revenue opportunities
VIP & Guest Relations
- Assist with VIP arrivals, special requests, celebrations, and hosted experiences
- Communicate guest preferences and special arrangements to service and management teams
- Provide high-touch service for premium guests, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded
- Support service recovery with discretion and urgency when needed
Atmosphere & Floor Awareness
- Monitor lounge capacity, seating flow, and guest mix to maintain a balanced and enjoyable environment
- Collaborate with management to adjust seating and pacing based on business levels
- Maintain awareness of music, lighting, and overall lounge ambiance to align with brand standards
Communication & Team Coordination
- Act as a liaison between guests, servers, bartenders, and management
- Communicate seating updates, VIP activity, and guest needs in real time
- Work collaboratively with security, nightlife, and service teams to ensure smooth operations
Operational Responsibilities
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the host stand and entry area
- Ensure menus, reservation platforms, and guest lists are current and accurate
- Complete all opening, closing, and side-work duties
- Attend pre-shift meetings to stay informed of events, VIP guests, and reservations
Compliance & Brand Standards
- Adhere to Wynn grooming, uniform, and presentation standards at all times
- Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and local regulations (including ID verification where applicable)
- Maintain professionalism and discretion while representing the Wynn brand
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2+ years of experience in a lounge, nightlife, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred
- Experience in high-volume or VIP-driven environments strongly preferred
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to engage diverse guest profiles
Licenses & Certifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required work cards and licenses
