Job Description
The Director – Middle Eastern Marketing position will be responsible for the continuous acquisition of new casino slot & table games players to grow property player base and increase revenues along with assuring retention and repeat business through all communication channels to include telemarketing. The Director will constantly strive to exceed guest expectations through gracious and personalized service. The ideal candidate for this position will possess inherent customer service skills, a passion for guest care, and a commitment to proactive service and recovery as necessary.
Job Responsibilities
- Attracts international and domestic ethnic customers through cultural development.
- Analyzes the marketing potential of Middle Eastern cultures and creates a competitive marketing strategy to increase the company’s market share
- Provides clear goals and objectives for business plan to cultivate new business and grow existing business from Middle Eastern countries.
- Creates culturally appropriate promotional programs considering the profitability of repeat business
- Responsible for identifying and capturing premium casino guests both internally and externally, reviewing credit reports for credit worthiness, assisting in planning and participating with player development events.
- Work as a part of a team to grow the revenue and income managed by the Casino Marketing teams.
- Must meet monthly production, sales, special event/guest participation, and telemarketing goals.
- Develop one-on-one relationships with guests and provide exceptional service to cultivate and maintain relationships.
- Ensure that all guests are assisted in an efficient and courteous manner. Resolve complaints and issues effectively while escalating concerns as appropriate.
- Must be knowledgeable of, and be able to explain, games offered by the casino, current marketing events, promotions and programs along with benefits and privileges of using the Wynn Rewards program.
- Arrange reservations, transportation and accommodations for guests.
- Use sound judgment and make decisions in accordance with established comp and expense guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Competencies
- Advanced knowledge of the Middle East culture and customs is required.
- Candidate should have an understanding of our customer base and culture s through the experience of living in several countries represented by the department.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills for telemarketing and greeting guests.
- Ability to think independently in making real-time decisions to maximize guest service experience.
- Highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Possess sharply honed interpersonal skills, inspire confidence and exude authenticity in both guest and team interactions.
- Effective time management skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Technical capacity: proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel are preferred.
- Must always present a polished, well-groomed professional appearance.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
- This job operates in both an office and casino environment.
- Travel is required to conduct marketing trips to domestic and international destinations.
Position Type/Expected Work Hours
- This is a full-time position. Must be flexible regarding schedule with the ability to work varied days and times.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma.
- Additional education or related sales and marketing training preferred.
- Three (3) years of previous experience in casino, hospitality, telemarketing or other customer service environment.
Language Skills
- Must be multi-lingual (fluency in English and Arabic is required). Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, instructions, emails and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
Age, Certifications and Work Cards
- 21 years of age or above.
- A valid Nevada Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness Card are required and must be obtained before entering this position.
