Job Description
The Teppan Cook for Mizumi Fine Dining is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating all food items in a timely and palatable manger, along with being responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.
Qualifications
- Requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience in sushi preparation, including working in a teppanyaki environment, preferably in an upscale, fine dining setting
- Candidates must exhibit accurate knife skills, knowledge of sanitation, seafood handling, sushi and plate presentation
- Candidates must be able to communication in English, read and follow recipes and explain food items to dinner guest
- Requires the ability to work within a team environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
