Job Description
The Nightlife and Daylife Club Cocktail Server / Marketing Model is responsible for providing superior guest service while interacting and entertaining in a professional manner. Service should be consistent with Forbes 5 Star Standard rating. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Wynn company standards.
Job Duties:
- Greet, serve, interact and entertain guests courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude
- Consistently deliver exceptional service to every guest while interacting and entertaining in a professional manner
- Serving beverages, food and amenities in all areas of the pool and nightclub
- Take food and beverage orders from Guests table(s) and communicate orders properly to the service bar
- Organize and prioritize service per appropriate service sequence
- Up sell and suggestively sell menu items, celebration packages and beverages at all times
- Check food and beverage orders prior to serving to ensure that they are correct, properly presented and that special requests have been met
- Promptly deliver all beverages to appropriate tables and assigned work areas
- Manage multiple tables and tasks in an efficient and proactive manner
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with Clark County Health Standards
- Recognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated
- Ability to initiate and maintain an upbeat and relaxed environment on a consistent basis
- Ensure daily/nightly opening and closing duties are completed
- Adhere to and enforce company specific safety and health department policies/procedures
- Report any incidents or violations to management
- Follow all designated emergency procedures
- Attend required trainings
- Marketing and promoting pool and nightclub events both on property and on Social Media platforms
- Maintain social platforms as indicated by management and participate in marketing campaigns via social media
Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Minimum of 1-year work experience in a high-volume beverage or nightclub setting
- Must be able to communicate in English with guests and other team members
- Must be able to work efficiently within a team environment
- Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sun
- Must adhere to both company and department specific policies and procedures
- Embrace company culture and take pride in the resort and amenities
