Tax declarations are complicated, time-consuming and no one really understands them. Wundertax is on a mission to change that: We are a tax tech startup based in Berlin. The company was founded in October 2015 by David Czaniecki (CEO) and currently employs around 30 people. wundertax offers specialized online tax declarations for a wide variety of people and professional groups. In addition to its main platform steuererklaerung.de, wundertax among others offers tax tools for students (studentensteuererklaerung.de) or expats (germantaxes.de). Focusing on the tax needs and requirements of individual audiences minimizes the burden of creating a tax declaration for those users. For wundertax, the main goal is to enable users to make their own tax declarations as simply as possible and to maximize the tax refunds they receive.

A day in the life of the Head of Internationalization at wundertax:

Is really hard to describe - not just because this is a completely new position in our team but because it's very likey that there are no standard agendas or tasks. We need you to tell us how we successfully launch new markets. You are emersed in marketing numbers as well es product requirements and know how to conntect all stakeholders to get things done.

What you will be working on:

• You will lead our internationalization initiative in direct cooperation with the CEO - David Czaniecki

• You will collect and interpret data to make smart decisions in our endeavors to launch several countries this year (where best, where first, how, ...)

• You will use your entrepreneurial skills to make sure launches happen as planned

• You continuously apply new learnings across countries to optimize for success

What we need you to bring to the table:

• Experience in developing new markets for tech companies with a proven track record of your success

• Ability to make good decisions and learn fast from mistakes

• Ability to collaborate and communicate across functions to enable aligned global development strategy

• Commitment to independently implement what is needed to launch new markets  successfully
