Become part of a world-class team and help us bring the world closer together - one scan at a time  We’re now looking for an Product Design Engineer to contribute to our next generation products and accessories, as well as support changes and issues in our existing product portfolio. 

Your mission...  

As our new Product Design Engineer, you will be working in the newly opened hardware lab in Belgrade and be part of the global hardware development team. 

Your day-to-day will also consist of mainly these topics: 

• Supporting mechanical development and validation of products from ideation to mass production 
• Troubleshoot designs by running root cause analysis 
• Translating product concepts into mechanical specifications, creating BOMs, and estimating costs  
• Work closely with design and production departments, and drive the mechanical design to ensure manufacturable products, including the design of assembly rigs 
• Creation of test plans and definition of acceptance criteria. Perform component and product-level durability, quality, and manufacturability testing.

As our ideal candidate for this role, you come with the following skills and competencies:   

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.  
• 1-3 years experience in Mechanical product design, for example in mobile electronics, wearables, or smart appliances.  
• Strong skills with CAD packages and experience in rapid iteration and prototyping with hands-on workshop experience. Solidworks expertise is a plus. 
• Experience in Statistical Tolerance Analysis, DFMEA, DFMA, and Injection Molding 
• Experience in Machinery design, for example - test stands, assembly, and production jigs.  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and engaging work environment.  
• Fluency in English
