Job Description

We are looking for passionate and friendly tutors in Maths, English, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Co-ordinated Sciences for in-person sessions, for Year groups 4-13. We provide all the materials and the tools to manage your teaching and students. We value the experience with the 11+ exams, GCSE, A-levels and IB curriculum but it is not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, delivering and tracking in-person sessions with our Educai platform
  • Representing the Wonders of Maths values 
  • Being part of our community of tutors that help us shape the next generation of personalised education with a focus on how the student learns and providing feedback to our product and tech team on your experience/new ideas

Requirements:

  • Passion for your subject and empathy for children
  • A minimum of GCSE grade (or equivalent) in your subject of interest
  • Ability to work within the UK without any additional visa sponsorship
  • Commitment to a minimum of one full school term (13 weeks)
  • Preferred qualities: a minimum of 8 hours a week commitment, flexibility in schedule, experience in tutoring and interest in building the future education
  • Satisfactory reference and DBS check

Hours and remuneration:
The hourly rate ranges from £20-50/hour based on qualifications, experience and other factors.

Additional Information

We have an office based in Hammersmith, London. We are planning on opening other locations such as Kensington in the near future so keep an eye on our job board!
