Job Description

Are you an experienced benefits professional, ready for your next exciting step? Do you want to help us build and scale our benefit practices, in a truly global tech organization, spreading across 27 countries? If this sounds like you, then we’d love to chat!

This role is preferably based either in our Helsinki or Budapest office and will report to the Head of Benefits. 

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will manage the execution of our employee benefits programs and time-off and leave of absence policies. 

  • Liaise, collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders (People Operations, People Business Partners, Procurement, Legal, Tax, etc.) to ensure successful delivery of projects and alignment on processes critical to benefits delivery.

  • Help manage vendor relationships, measure performance and look for opportunities to improve vendor effectiveness.

  • Assist in designing and reviewing our benefits plans, as well as time-off and leave of absence policies, with a focus on purpose, effectiveness, and enhancing the employee experience.

  • Responsible for implementation activities of approved benefit programs, including selection and setup of benefit providers, creating project plans, assembling resources, and developing and documenting processes and policies.

  • Create and implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize benefits operations.

  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve and streamline processes to achieve operational efficiency and optimize the employee experience.

  • Oversee the renewal process for country-specific benefits, including; preparation and analysis of census data, partnership with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating employee communications.

  • Address escalated employee benefits questions in partnership with the People Services team, Brokers and vendors.

  • Help identify and meet benefits compliance requirements throughout the region.

  • Own/deliver on/contribute to wider global projects and initiatives with local context in mind.

  • Experience in a multi-location benefits role.

  • Drive to continuously learn and grow.

  • Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, managing competing priorities.

  • Strong report writing skills, with the ability to create proposals based on research and analysis for stakeholders.

  • Keen eye for detail, critical thinking, and focus on accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills, with near-native fluency in English. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, the People team, and business leads, and present programs and plans to employee groups and leadership teams.

  • Comfortable supporting a global population across multiple time zones through email, messaging, and video conferencing.

  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management and negotiations.

  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) applications
