Job Description
Our journey within Czechia and Slovakia started with our Prague launch in the summer of 2018. Since then, we’ve expanded to Brno, Bratislava, Košice & others with more growth expected in the next 12 months.We’re now looking for a motivated Head of Sales to take ownership of the sales activities in the region of Czechia and Slovakia. A large part of the role is managing a sales team that is among the best performing ‘Woltwide’. They already set high standards and expectations of themselves, and so they need a leader that can not only embrace this, but help to push them onto the next level! As such, you’ll need to be the sales expert who can identify and introduce ways to work more effectively, help the team overcome challenges, and get stuck in with some hands-on client management. Reporting into the Head of Commercials, you’ll also work with other team leads in the region to create the commercial strategy and plot the roadmap for our continued growth in both countries.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and developing the restaurant sales and account management teams across Czechia & Slovakia, including recruiting, performance management and target setting.
- Owning the financial and operational performance of the restaurant team.
- Creating and implementing a sales strategy for the market.
- Managing all sales & account management activities in the market.
- Conducting negotiations with large partnerships.
Qualifications
- Having a deep understanding of the market and competition.
- Proven track record in managing a high-performing sales team and leading from the front.
- Excellent analytical skills - such as translating data into actions or analysing sales metrics and producing relevant KPIs.
- Experience from within either the HORECA or tech industries.
- Passion for sales and networking, with strong local connections.
- Fluent in English and Czech/Slovak.
- Driver's licence
- Willingness to travel extensively, if you are about to be based in Czechia we expect you to travel to Slovakia once every two weeks and vice versa.
