Role background

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Finance & Strategy to join our Wolt Ads team. In this role, you will get to build a global Ads business for a fast growing technology company from the ground up. You will build the foundations for accurate and effective financial processes and performance tracking, develop financial models, analyze data and provide valuable business insights for decision making. You will set targets, provide strategic guidance and drive us to meet our ambitious goals. You will be the key financial and strategy partner for the Ads business in Wolt globally.

You will report directly to our Senior Director, Wolt Finance & Strategy, and partner with our Global Head of Advertising.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide financial and strategic targets, follow-up and guidance to our Ads leadership
• Identify and analyze trends, variances, and key performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations to management
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports, forecasts and budgets for Wolt Ads
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations to understand business drivers and influence decision making
• Develop and maintain financial reporting and analysis tools to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial analysis
• Build the foundations for accurate and effective financial reporting for Ads, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data and compliance with accounting standards and policies
• Drive efficient core financial processes such as accounts receivable

• 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the advertising industry
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Looker, Power BI)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
