Do you have a sweet spot for building amazing UI and crafting clean functional frontend code? We have just the spot open for you!

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to work on our internal tools used for managing the delivery business. Running a delivery platform for restaurant and store deliveries is complex, so various high-quality internal tools are needed to keep the wheels turning. We have a few teams that build our internal tools, such as the Courier Team, which is responsible for improving, for example, the onboarding experience for new couriers.

You’ll be working together with an experienced team of backend engineers, designers, a product lead and a team lead and in this role you will have ownership of the frontend side. The teams at Wolt are autonomous and each team member is able to influence decision-making, ways of working and priorities. You can work in either of our tech hubs Helsinki HQ or Berlin or work entirely remotely elsewhere in Finland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, or Estonia now and in the future!

We use modern React with ReScript or TypeScript and are looking for someone with a strong prior experience working with them. A functional programming background (ReScript, or Elm, Haskell, OCaml) is needed for this role. Our Reason modules consist of close to 35 000 lines of code.
