Job Description

We are looking for a UX Designer to make the life of our 1000+ dear customer support specialists easier across each of our Wolt countries. As part of the LiveOps team, you’ll be designing world-class tools and efficient interfaces to reduce manual work and improve communications. You’ll get to dive deep to gather an understanding of the needs of teams from Finland to Japan and design solutions that make sense for Wolt as a whole.

At Wolt, We currently serve over 9 Million monthly users. It takes some real serious work from our dedicated customer support teams in each of the 23 countries to ensure customer satisfaction. Wolt is scaling rapidly like a rocket and expanding into new markets monthly, making sure customer support is efficient is more crucial than ever. 

LiveOps team enables a better and more efficient life for our support in all of our current and future markets. The team’s work includes re-imagining our existing tools as well as building entirely new ones. LiveOps team is responsible for one of the most complex tools at Wolt, in the heart of our operations, it monitors thousands of orders simultaneously and finds potential logistics problems automatically.

You'll be designing user flows and wireframes, diving deep into our data, while gathering feedback from the users and other stakeholders. You gather feedback from the users and other stakeholders through interviews and usability testing to find creative ways to solve UX problems. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary product management, design, data, and engineering team to deliver thoughtful and design work grounded in solid research and validation.

The ideal person we are looking for is someone who has an analytical and systems thinking mindset when it comes to design. Data-driven design experience comes in handy as there is plenty of data to make use of – and so much more on the way. Having an interest or prior experience in automating workflows on the customer end would also be beneficial as one of our big themes for future is automating repetitive manual tasks

You won’t need to start from scratch as you’ll be able to work alongside the current designer for the team and a team of talented developers and product design specialists. However, to succeed in the role we expect you to have mid to senior-level experience as a UX Designer since you’ll have a degree of ownership over the success of a core part of our business.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in UX Design for digital products, ideally web applications
  • Prior experience with data-driven design
  • Be comfortable with wireframing
  • User research experience to be able independently to plan and execute user research when needed, or in cooperation with our UX Researcher

You get bonus points if you have previous experience in designing chats or support/operations tooling.
