    Job Description

    Primary purpose of the function:

    Manage and extend a portfolio of key account customers thought in order to build OES/Key accounts business with added value that is fully in line with the overarching goal and our strategy.

     

    1. Account Based Management

    You develop further the existing portfolio of OES/Key Accounts customers according to the business plan OES/Key accounts.

    • Define upselling / cross selling strategy for each account
    • Together with the customer you create the ideal product mix adapted to his specific needs, in line with our upselling strategies.

    You develop long-term relationships with customers, through managing and interpreting their needs and requirements.

    You are responsible for the pricing- negotiating contract terms and condition to meet both customer and company need.

     

    2. Processes and projects 

    You are responsible for an optimal process flow according to the contract terms (easy to do business, supply chain, forecast and monitoring, reporting…)

    Extend and upgrade the service level to customers by optimizing the technical commercial support, Supply chain management, Inventory management, easy to do business processes and so on

     

    3. Provide Technical Support

    • Define product training plan per key account

    Qualifications

    We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Key Account Manager for our Original Equipment Service (OES) and Private Label division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing key accounts, fostering client relationships, and driving business growth.

    The following profile requirements are essential for this role:

    • Extensive travel capability (30-40%): You should be comfortable with frequent travel, as the role requires building and maintaining relationships with key clients. Travel is expected to be around 30-40% of working time.

    • Independent work ethic: Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently. A natural self-starter who can take initiative and thrive in a dynamic work environment.

    • Continuous learning: A commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends. You should have the ability to adapt to evolving market dynamics and incorporate new knowledge into your role.

    • Goal-oriented: You should possess a results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.

    • Technical proficiency: A strong understanding of technical products. 

    • Language skills: Fluent in English, German and Dutch. Proficiency in French or any additional European language, is considered a significant advantage.

    • Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and internal teams. The candidate should be adept at conveying complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

    • Interpersonal skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships both with clients and internal teams. The candidate should be comfortable working collaboratively with diverse teams.

    • Project management excellence: Demonstrated excellence in project management, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects efficiently. Strong organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
