Wolfcreek Consulting is hiring for business development managers looking to work with the Baptist Health South Florida hospital system.

We are seeking someone willing to supervise a team managing the daily financial collections of the hospital, as well as various human resources tasks including hiring, training, and development.

The ideal candidate MUST have previous experience working with a hospital.

This position is fully remote.

Job Description

  • Oversee Corporate Collection Departments' operations for all BHSF facilities, maximizing cash flow and ensuring timely resolution of accounts receivable.
     
  • Monitor and evaluate accounts receivable performance, taking corrective action when necessary to improve revenue cycle outcomes.
     
  • Provide leadership to the collections team, including hiring, training, and performance management, to ensure high-quality performance and professional development.
     
  • Manage cash collections while ensuring compliance with BHSF policies, state and federal regulations, and industry standards (including Medicare Correct Coding Initiative, DRG guidelines, and ICD-9/CPT coding).
     
  • Coordinate with various departments, managed care companies, and stakeholders to effectively resolve accounts receivable issues and improve overall revenue cycle performance.
     
  • Analyze complex situations, implement effective solutions, and manage projects to meet established departmental goals and standards.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
       
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration preferred.
       
    • Minimum 7 years of supervisory/managerial experience in hospital receivables management.
       
    • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, including managed care contracts and billing compliance requirements.
       
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong leadership and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
       
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage large teams and interact with all levels of management.
       
    • Understanding of Medicare Correct Coding Initiative, ICD-9, CPT coding, and DRG guidelines.
       
    • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines while maintaining high performance standards.
