Job Description

Account Executive is an individual contributor role with a direct reporting line towards the Sales Lead & Co-founder. The main goal for this role is to identify business opportunities with current leads/customers and sell Wizikey's offering in India and proactively recommend solutions to our clients.  

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Sells Wizikey directly or via partners to prospective and existing customers base, in India 
  • Strategically map Wizikey's technology to the company's pain and underlying business challenges 
  • Get creative and drive ideas around sales activity 
  • Own new and existing customer relationships end-to-end
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of Wizikey
  • Manage sales through forecasting, resource allocation, strategy, and planning. Expanding touch points and footprint in key accounts.
  • Work closely with the CSM to develop proper account planning and customer journey mapping, to increase the value of our offering and grow each partnership/account.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, and serve as a trusted partner to your leads/accounts to maintain account health
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to create innovative, customized campaigns to target prospects within India
  • Coordinate with CSM team for deployment and ongoing great customer experience
  • Master Wizikey's value proposition, ensuring consistency in messaging with the product's features and functions 
  • Actively communicate with engineering, product, marketing, and solution engineering with respect to evolving customer requirements and trends in the marketplace 
  • As a Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others

How we measure success for the role:

  • Achievement of numeric sales quotas (% of goal met in the set quarterly/annual numeric KPIs; CRM data)  
  • Generation of new opportunities and business development (Generation of inflow of INR in pipeline, % of correct vs. errors in sales forecasts) 
  • Approaching target customers (# of related products and features promoted to every target customer; % target customers identified who need Wizikey; # of converted target leads into opportunities in a quarter; identified # of target customers in India) 
  • Reporting efficiency through timely and accurate updates (clean CRM data - we use Salesforce for our sales CRM) 

Qualifications

  • Passion for the Marketing & Communications industry 

  • 2-5 years of work experience in a SaaS start-up environment, preferably selling AI-powered solutions within Marketing and Communications suites

  • Results driven with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to quickly scale pipeline 

  • Self-starter with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota 

  • Experience selling to companies with 100 - 10,000 employees 

  • Ability to forge and maintain solid business relationships with both internal and external clients 

  • A dynamic personality, combined with a drive to think creatively to move deals forward  

  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences including both technical and non-technical stakeholders
