Wizikey is a subscription-based Communication SaaS that helps businesses identify and connect with relevant media influencers. With Wizikey’s data intelligence, companies can create campaigns, target and engage influencers and journalists, measure and optimize to scale their brand-building efforts. With Wizikey, companies can scale their communication efforts to over 10 countries & get actionable competitive intelligence.

What the work will involve:

Wizikey is looking for a React.js Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Our frontend stack is based on Nextjs, the whole code is now on Typescript and we use Graphql to talk to the API server. We have a team that focuses a lot on developer experience with the best tools, coding practices, design systems, etc. We are looking for someone who shares the same passion for developing high-quality software and is a great team player.

What you will be doing:

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers Skills
• Effectively communicating with internal departments and team members
• Working independently under limited supervision
• Understanding product requirements and translating them into technical requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• You are an enthusiastic software developer with a keen interest in frontend web development and know Reactjs
• You have at least 1-year of experience or have done some personal projects
• You have good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• You have a good understanding of React.js and its principles
• You are familiar with newer concepts in React
• You are familiar with concepts like RESTful APIs, cookies, HTTP protocols, etc.
• You know the basics of Git
• You have good attention to detail

Would be a plus:

• You know about and like Typescript
• You know about GraphQL
• You know about PWAs
• You have some knowledge of JIRA
