Data Analyst

Job Description
Join Wix’s Data team and help shape product and business decisions through data.
We’re looking for a Data Analyst who combines strong analytical thinking, business understanding, and hands-on technical ability. This role sits at the intersection of product insight and data execution: answering important product questions, driving experiments and recommendations, and improving the underlying data, definitions, and workflows that make future insights faster and easier.
This is not a classic Business Analyst role focused on specs and coordination. We’re looking for someone who can think like an analyst, work hands-on with data, and use modern tools - including AI - to reduce dependency and increase impact.
In your day-to-day, you will:
Own analytics for a product domain and develop deep understanding of its users, flows, KPIs, and business goals
Turn product and business questions into clear insights and actionable recommendations
Analyze funnels, cohorts, experiments, product behavior, and growth opportunities
Define, maintain, and challenge KPI logic and measurement frameworks
Work closely with Product Managers, UX to improve decision-making and product direction
Use SQL, Python, and other tools to answer high-value questions quickly and reliably
Contribute to improving self-serve, documentation, data definitions, event coverage, and the overall usability of the data layer
Build and improve reusable analysis workflows, AI-assisted tools, and team assets that reduce repeated work
Support and interpret A/B tests and other product experiments
Present findings clearly to stakeholders and influence roadmap and business decision
Qualifications
Proven experience in a data, product, analytics, engineering or similar role
Strong SQL skills
Working knowledge of Python and comfort using it for analysis, automation, or data work
Familiarity with Git and comfort working with modern development / collaboration workflows
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience turning data into insights and recommendations, not just outputs
Good understanding of product and online business metrics, including funnels, retention, cohorts, segmentation, and experimentation
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive work forward
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
Comfort working on ambiguous product questions and structuring them into analysis
It’s an advantage if you have:
Experience working close to data models, event schemas, or self-serve analytics
Experience with AI tools in analysis or workflow automation
Experience with A/B testing frameworks or experimentation analysis
Additional Information
You’ll be part of a central Data team that supports Wix products. In this role, you’ll own analytics and analytics engineering for a product domain while working closely with Product, UX, and also contribute to self-serve, data quality, reusable workflows, and AI-enabled ways of working.
This role is for someone who is stronger and more hands-on than a classic analyst profile, but still focused on product insight and business impact.
We offer:
Discount stock purchasing plans (ESPP)
Health and personal accident insurance
Daily lunch and snacks at the office
Commuting allowance
Discounted phone operator services and compensation for a new phone
Free exercise classes and wellness activities
Online courses and professional development
Fun activities and team events
Salary range is 4000 - 6000 Eur GROSS / month (Total compensation, including RSUs package)
