Job Description
As Market Data & Insights Strategic Lead you’ll shape how Wix uses large-scale market data to guide growth, positioning, and corporate development. You’ll build distinctive models, benchmarks, and scoring systems that give Wix a differentiated perspective on competitors and markets, while monitoring digital signals and user behavior at scale to surface early opportunities. On your day-to day you will:
Build distinctive scoring systems, models, benchmarks, and market maps that give Wix a defensible perspective on markets, competitors, and growth opportunities
Develop scalable frameworks and insight systems that turn complex data into repeatable decision-making tools, embedding intelligence across corporate development, product, marketing and business operations
Continuously monitor market signals and digital behavior at scale, surfacing early opportunities and shaping forward-looking perspectives
Develop unique theses on sectors, trends, and companies, giving leadership a differentiated view of where to play and how to win
Guide and collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data is structured, validated, and productized for strategic use
Experiment with AI, alternative datasets, and emerging tools to expand the breadth, speed, and impact of analysis
Mentor peers and elevate standards, raising the bar for analytical rigor and storytelling across the company
Deliver briefings to senior executives, translating analysis into clear narratives and actionable recommendations
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in strategy, market intelligence, consulting, VC/PE research or corporate strategy
Proven ability to design and apply strategic frameworks for market sizing, competitive benchmarking, partnership evaluation, and growth analysis
Track record of building models and benchmarks that inform executive decisions and shape corporate strategy
Strong technical fluency including SQL proficiency, knowledge of Python, familiarity with AI tools, and experience with BI tools such as Google BigQuery, Tableau, PowerBI and Looker
Comfortable working with large, complex datasets that reflect internet activity, user behavior, and market dynamics
Communication and storytelling skills with the ability to turn complex analysis into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders
Experience in global technology, SaaS, or digital platform companies would be an advantage
