We’re looking for a talented and experienced leader to join the Reactive Production team at Wix. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of developers, driving technical decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. In your day-to-day, you’ll:

• Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers

• Own decisions about product and architecture

• Collaborate with engineering managers, devOps managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize project requirements

• Supervise the development and implementation of scalable, high-performance software solutions

• Ensure that code quality, performance, and security standards are met

• Identify and address any technical challenges and bottlenecks

• Continuously improve development processes and your team’s performance

• 4+ years experience leading R&D teams

• 10+ years experience working in backend development, with expertise in Typescript, go, python, or Object Oriented Programming (OOP) languages (Java, C#)

• Experience with high-scale, distributed systems and microservice architecture

• Knowledgeable in AWS cloud including infrastructure resources (VPCs, networking, storage and compute) and developer tools (Step Functions, lambdas, DynamoDB etc..) 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English and Hebrew

• A track record of driving projects to successful completion

• You have a production-oriented mindset

The Reactive Production team is responsible for the tooling that makes Wix resilient at the infrastructure level. We provide the engineers of the companies with the capabilities to manage Wix production end to end. Our stakeholders are infrastructure engineers, SREs, devOps, and more. As such, we hold high standards for our code and products in terms of testability, writing clean code that’s easily extendable, delivering great UX and SLAs, and managing our own infrastructure . Currently, we’re reinventing the way infrastructure is managed at scale, hopefully paving the way for interesting topics.
