• Define and design applications and 3rd-party integration architecture within the Wix ecosystem

• Manage app life cycles, version control and review processes

• Customize and optimize app success by defining and implementing a successful app market with complex search algorithms and ML recommendation models

• Manage app monetization through an in-house billing system with various pricing and payment options

• Work with a state-of-the-art tech stack, including domain-driven development in microservices architecture, Kafka, Scala and Kubernetes

• Ensure high-scale systems with large RPMs and zero downtime

• 4+ years of experience in backend development

• Strong understanding of large scale microservices architecture

• Hands-on experience with event driven systems

• Proven track record managing app life cycles and implementing sophisticated versioning systems

• Experience in functional programming – an advantage

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
