Job Description
High Level Position Summary: The Help Me Grow (HMG) Partnership Manager is accountable for providing technical assistance to and professional development opportunities for HMG Washington’s partner network as they work to implement the HMG System Model. This includes supporting continuous learning and peer-to-peer connection among exploratory communities and the HMG Washington sub-affiliate network. Previous experience with Help Me Grow is not required. The HMG Systems team actively advocates for systems change at the practice and policy level.
The optimal candidate will have some combination of lived experience in accessing services and/or demonstrated experience in successfully building strong relationships with communities of diverse cultures and identities including, but not limited to; racial, economic, ethnic, language, gender, sexual orientation, and/or immigration status. This team interfaces with health, social service, and early learning providers. While this position does not provide direct service to families, the HMG Partnership Manager will support the integration of family and caregiver voice in the expansion, implementation, and quality improvement of the Help Me Grow Washington Network.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance support to partners (internal and external) as they make progress along the Help Me Grow Implementation Continuum.
- Ensure fidelity to the HMG model for each of the sub-affiliate systems.
- Identify training and technical assistance interests (T/TA) and opportunities for shared learning across the HMG-WA network.
- Communicate lessons learned across the HMG WA sub-affiliate network in a timely manner.
- Manage the annual sub-affiliate renewal process and communications with the sub-affiliate network.
- Support peer-to-peer connections among sub-affiliate regions and communities, as well as other HMG systems across the United States.
- Serve as a liaison between HMG WA partners and HMG National contacts, including linkages to resources.
- Work collaboratively with members of the WithinReach Coordinated Access team to develop and support local HMG systems referrals and linkages to the statewide HMG infrastructure.
- Support local implementation of continuous quality improvement strategies.
- As needed, provide project management and facilitation to support teams and workgroups within the HMG-WA network.
Qualifications
- Lives in Washington state.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and basic database functions.
- Proficiency with video conferencing and virtual tools for collaboration and interactive activities.
- Strong group facilitation and one-on-one coaching skills.
- Experience working with communities using an approach that is grounded in honoring local expertise.
- Experience leading and/or participating in coalitions, workgroups, or task forces with members of diverse and intersectional identity groups.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills characterized by the ability to listen, speak, and write well, including experience in public speaking and developing and delivering presentations.
- A goal-oriented personality who is resilient and creative when faced with shifting challenges and opportunities.
Preferred:
- Familiarity and/or previous applied experience with providing support to local communities implementing a national, fidelity based model.
- Knowledge of maternal/child health and early learning and social service systems.
This position requires access to a car and a valid driver’s license and may require day/overnight travel. Due to COVID-19 all activities will be virtual, and modifications will follow CDC and state health official recommendations.
Additional Information
Salary & Benefits: $75,000 Annually, Full-Time Exempt, 40 hours/week. Work Location: This position has a remote, office-based, or hybrid option. This position requires access to reliable internet connection and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting. All applicants must live in Washington state. Once it is deemed safe, this position may include up to 10% travel within Washington State and National Conference.
