As the Director of Product Management, you will lead a team of Product Managers and work closely alongside engineering, design, and data science teams to define and drive merchant risk detection and enforcement capabilities. Our product managers are responsible for understanding the problem space and identifying key opportunities by leveraging their product expertise and analytical insights.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and drive the long term product strategy and roadmap for the Merchant Risk space
• Define high level goals and metrics that measure the value and success of various initiatives, and of the Wish consumer experience as a whole
• Recruit, develop and motivate a diverse set of Product Managers
• Define and manage team processes
• Manage cross functional dependencies, risks and changes effectively by defining MVP, optimizing scope, scheduling and managing resources accordingly
• Help evaluate results of A/B experimentation
• Help evaluate new proposals from product viability and UX perspective
• Be intensely data driven in prioritizing and evaluating the results of all work

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required
• Previous experience with Trust and Safety
• 10+ years of experience overall with 5+ years of experience in product management, with 3+ years as a people manager
• Experience leading large consumer apps with tens of millions of users
• 3+ years of experience in a mature A/B testing environment with significant hands-on experience running experiments
• Strong PM skills and can drive significant products personally as an individual contributor when needed
• Strong quantitative analysis skills and a data driven approach to problem solving
• Ready and willing to roll up sleeves to analyze data hands on in SQL/Python/R environment
• Passionate can-do attitude. Not afraid to try, learn, and improve, with the ability to work in a fast paced team environment. Not afraid to try bold, risky experiments.
• Solution-oriented, highly motivated, and proactive self-starter
• Well-rounded interpersonal skills, and experience interacting with diverse personalities
