We’re looking for an awesome designer to help us elevate the quality of the Wish Design team. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning the full-stack design process and executing at a high level to create impactful designs for a global audience.

We look for product designers who are passionate about serving the often neglected demographic of lower-income, value-conscious consumers by designing better experiences for our sellers.  All product designers on the team touch every dimension of the seller experience and have an influential voice in determining the future business and design strategy at Wish. You are:

Purpose driven.

• Partner with stakeholders to define problems, identify objectives, map user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new product features and services.
• Guide and shape our foundational team processes and frameworks as we continue to scale. 
• Apply the full breadth of your design skill set in animation, visual design, prototyping, motion design, and user research to add delight to the product experience.

Naturally curious.  

• Constantly find new methodologies for improving your design output, regularly gather feedback about your work, and never be satisfied with the status quo.
• Push your solutions beyond their initial objectives and expand them into opportunities for innovation.
• Investigate and ask probing questions, whether it’s about design processes, product requirements, or if we can see your screen =).

A true user advocate. 

• Ensure that Wish users are prioritized during every phase of the design process in order to fulfill our mission of making affordable shopping accessible for everyone. 
• Communicate the user experience with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes. 
• Integrate quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and other research methodologies into the product development cycle.

• 3+ years of relevant product design experience. 
• The ability to ideate products from scratch and improve features within a user-centered design process.
• Experience working cross functionally with Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Content Strategists and Product Managers.
• A Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.
• A portfolio highlighting professional projects that demonstrate proficiency in building usable digital products.
