Job Description

Wish is one of the top e-commerce marketplaces in the world. But what does it mean to work at Wish? As an Employment Branding Intern, you will help us position Wish as an employer of choice for cutting edge engineering, data science, and e-commerce professionals. Our fast-paced culture allows professionals of all levels the opportunity to make an immediate impact here. As an intern at Wish, you won’t just crank through busy work; you’ll be an active participant on real-time initiatives that move our business forward. We are seeking an intern for the Summer of 2021 from May - August at 40 hours/week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner with the Manager of Employment Branding to develop a comprehensive social media strategy. 

  • Build an employment branding social media editorial calendar, and partner with Wish’s core social media team to ensure we are aligned to the Wish brand’s calendar, standards, and policies.

  • Write or contribute content to various employment branding copy, including blog posts, job postings, ad campaigns, etc. 

  • Help us build a robust library of content for future employment branding needs.

  • Build an employment branding playbook to encourage Wish employees to be strong employment ambassadors.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree (in process or recently completed) in marketing.

  • Experience building social media strategies, content calendars, and copy.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills. 

  • Professional experience with creative writing, blogging, or copy writing.  

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior exposure to or experience with employment branding.

  • Passion for brand building and storytelling. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google products
