Job Description
We are seeking a Team Lead, Data Quality Operations to oversee the day-to-day execution of data validation and quality assurance workflows supporting the Mobee platform. This role will manage a team responsible for validating in-store data collection missions, ensuring data accuracy, operational efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
The Team Lead will serve as a primary operational point of contact for a portion of the In Store validation team, working closely with other Team Leads across the In Store business, cross functionally with GTM and Ops leadership to ensure missions are validated efficiently and with the highest level of accuracy.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality data outputs, improving operational processes, and supporting the development and performance of the validation team.
Shift timing for this role is 3pm-11:30pm local time to ensure overlap with global partners.
Responsibilities::
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and manage a team responsible for validating Mobee mission data and performing data quality tasks
Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
Train and mentor team members on tools, workflows, and quality standards
Identify training needs and develop resources to improve team capability
Conduct performance evaluations and manage individual performance improvement where necessary
Participate in the hiring process including candidate interviews and onboarding of new hires.
Operational Management & Collaboration
Review and update mission guide drafts to improve clarity for validation team
Allocate missions to the validation team based on priority levels and business requirements
Assign and manager data quality tasks to ensure timely completion and SLA adherence
Monitor, manage and escalate issues that could impact data quality or customer coverage
Coordinate team schedules and leave planning to ensure operational coverage and alignment with business needs
Data Quality Assurance
Ensure the accuracy and consistency of validation mission data across the platform
Identify and resolve quality issues proactively
Provide feedback with potential to improve mission guidance, reduce refusals and increase mission coverage
Reporting & Process Documentation
Track and update operational metrics to contribute to monthly performance reporting
Monitor team productivity and quality trends to identify improvement opportunities
Create and maintain process documentation and training materials to ensure consistent execution across the team
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen quality processes
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in data quality, operations, quality assurance or similar roles
2+ years of experience leading or mentoring operational teams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Experience working with data validation workflows, content moderation, or QA processes
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Skilled in use of Microsoft suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Strong communications skills in English (verbal and written)
Experience working with crowdsourced data collection platforms or retail data environments preferred
