Job Description
Evercore Private Funds Group (“PFG”) is looking for an ambitious and articulate placement intern to join the team at their London office.
Recognised as one of the leading groups providing comprehensive, global advisory services on capital raising for select private fund sponsors. Employing a distinct and rigorous approach to diligence, PFG advises and executes on all aspects of the fundraising process, including competitive positioning and market assessment, preparation of marketing materials, investor development, and documentation.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Project Management: Support the execution of fundraises across our platform which currently comprises traditional private equity, credit, and infrastructure funds
Duties include:
Preparing key fundraising documentation (e.g. marketing presentation, PPM, DDQ, etc.)
Weekly fundraise status reporting: Client meeting and call notes to be collated and sent to clients
Regular participation in the organisation of fund roadshows and the related documents (e.g. investor profiles)
Play a key role in updating PFG’s own marketing materials in preparation for introductory meetings
Conduct research on GP landscape and Limited Partner (“LP”) universe to help in identifying potential business opportunities
Support senior personnel in evaluating potential mandates by carrying out GP research, fund performance analysis and market mapping
Assist with weekly private equity news document to be distributed to global GP/LP recipients
Assist senior personnel with internal reporting to include pipeline tracking, weekly updates and ad hoc internal meeting presentations
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree completing Spring 2029 or earlier, with strong academic credentials (on track for high 2:1 and above)
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal)
Excellent attention to detail
Strong quantitative skills
Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation and must be able to work independently, across a variety of responsibilities and at a fast pace
Private equity fundraising experience is not necessary, but candidate must be enthusiastic about the industry and demonstrate a capacity to learn quickly
Native or near-native English speaker
