Job Description

Start your career in Audit at HaysMac, working with a diverse range of clients while studying towards your ACA qualification. 
 
Audit is about providing independent assurance that financial statements are accurate and reliable. As an Audit Associate, you will help organisations build trust in their financial reporting, supporting better decision-making for stakeholders. 
 
From day one, you will be part of our social purpose team, gaining exposure to charities and purpose-driven organisations, and building an understanding of how they operate and create impact.

What you’ll be doing

As an Audit Associate, you will work as part of a team delivering high-quality audits. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Testing financial transactions (e.g. invoices, payments, and receipts) 
  • Reviewing financial data to identify risks or inconsistencies 
  • Preparing audit working papers and documenting findings 
  • Supporting seniors and managers throughout the audit process 
  • Attending client meetings and building relationships with client teams 
  • Working both in the office and on client sites 

You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, developing both your technical knowledge and professional skills.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile 

We are looking for individuals who are curious, motivated and eager to learn. You should:

  • Have a genuine interest in how businesses and organisations operate

Academic Requirements 

2:2 degree (predicted or obtained) in any discipline 
120 UCAS points (or equivalent) from your top three A-Levels
