Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and professional Human Resources Specialist to join our team in London, United Kingdom. In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR support across recruitment, employee relations, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and committed to supporting our employees while maintaining compliance with HR policies and procedures. You will work collaboratively with management and staff to ensure a positive workplace environment and smooth HR operations.
- Assist with the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, resume screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation in compliance with data protection regulations
- Provide support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace inquiries
- Coordinate employee onboarding programs and ensure new hires receive necessary orientation and training materials
- Assist in the administration of performance review processes and maintain performance documentation
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and ensure organizational compliance
- Manage HR databases and HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee information and generate reports
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and workplace events to foster a positive company culture
- Handle routine payroll administration tasks and coordinate with payroll providers
- Resolve employee relations issues professionally and escalate complex matters to senior HR staff as needed
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in human resources, HR administration, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law fundamentals
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and HR management systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in HR documentation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally
- Preferred: Experience with payroll administration or benefits management
- Preferred: Knowledge of UK employment regulations and workplace compliance requirements
- Preferred: Experience coordinating training programs or employee development initiatives
