Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized People Operations professional to join our team in Sydney, Australia. In this role, you will be the backbone of our human resources function, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring our organization runs smoothly. You will support our employees throughout their journey with us, from recruitment through to offboarding, while maintaining compliance with Australian employment regulations. - Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees
- Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programs, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Maintain and update the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), generating reports and analytics to support decision-making
- Coordinate employee relations activities, including performance reviews, employee engagement initiatives, and workplace conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment law, Fair Work regulations, and company policies
- Develop and implement onboarding programs to facilitate smooth integration of new team members
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation, records, and personnel files in accordance with legal requirements
- Support recruitment planning and workforce analysis to identify staffing needs
- Coordinate training and professional development programs for employees
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace matters in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with special projects and initiatives that support organizational goals and employee satisfaction
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in human resources operations, HR administration, or a related field
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and HR software systems
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and Fair Work Act requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Proficiency in data analysis and HR reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying process improvements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business applications
- Experience coordinating payroll and benefits administration
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support business leaders
- Preferred: Experience with change management initiatives or strategic HR projects
- Preferred: Knowledge of training and development program coordination
