Job Description

We're looking for an Early Careers Recruitment & Development Specialist to join our WiseStart team in Hyderabad, to help us set up a new and exciting apprenticeship, and grow our early careers presence, demonstrating our commitment to growing local talent in the region.

Here’s where you’ll have impact:

We are looking for an Early Careers Recruitment & Development Specialist to join our WiseStart team as our very first hire on the ground in India.

Our global WiseStart team handles everything related to attracting, hiring, and onboarding our graduates, interns, apprentices, and career switchers. Since you'll be the first person in the region, you will have a massive say in shaping Wise as the absolute best place to start a career in India. You’ll get to own the full lifecycle: everything from local employer branding and marketing to actual recruitment and ongoing development programs!

As an Early Careers Recruitment & Development Specialist, you will:

  • Manage the full life cycle across recruitment and development for interns and graduates across Wise in India / APAC
  • Plan and host events (virtual and in person) for prospective and current intern and graduates
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities to place apprentices, helping them create role profiles that are suitable for this demographic
  • Partner with training providers and local third parties to ensure we have a strong pipeline of apprentices into Wise
  • Work with the Head of WiseStart to create and deliver a comprehensive and engaging training program for apprentices, giving them the skills they need to succeed at Wise and beyond
  • Work with our internal People and Risk teams to make sure all of our local programs stay fully compliant with Indian government regulations
  • Mentor and coach more junior members of the team, sharing best practices and fostering their development
  • Manage and influence senior stakeholders, providing expert advice and building strong, collaborative relationships

    Qualifications

    What does it take?

    • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, early careers, human resources or youth outreach
    • You have a keen interest in Early Careers and in developing new talent in the region
    • You are excited about the opportunity to build a programme from scratch
    • You have exceptional verbal & written English skills - candidate communications are a big part of this role and our team is international, so you will be using English on a daily basis
    • Finally, you’re located in India and are legally authorised to work in India

    Additional Information

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders  — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
