Wirrpanda Foundation WORK READY Employment Program for Indigenous Job Seekers
- 5 Millford Street, East Vic Park, WA
Wirrpanda Foundation Employment Program
The Wirrpanda Foundation employment program supports Indigenous job seekers into meaningful, enjoyable and long term employment. Each individual that comes into the employment program is supported by one of our mentors to work on their individual plan and set their employment goals.
A big part of our program are the weekly activities that we run for job seekers. Fit 4 Work is run on a Thursday for guys and on a Tuesday for females.
All participants need to be already registered with a Job Active Provider
FIT 4 WORK
The FIT 4 WORK Program activities are aimed at improving physical fitness, self-confidence and employability. Consistent attendance at these weekly sessions is expected and will vastly improve the opportunity to find full time employment.
The foundation’s mentors will deliver the weekly program and provide mentoring support for participants whilst also improving the health and well being of attendees.
Following the physical activity session job seekers will also participate in industry specific training and work readiness aimed at better preparing them for employment.
