Job Description

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for directing and executing marketing campaigns, sales promotions, tradeshows and advertising efforts to achieve the promotional and financial goals of the company. The role will include responsibility for helping develop marketing plans across our steel rope product lines and will leverage best-in-class demand generation trends to position WireCo as the best choice for customers.                            

Qualifications

  • Along with product marketing, create and execute marketing and promotion plans for steel products that encompass all communication channels
  • Development of digital strategies, including website content, SEO and SEM, and online campaigns
  • Development of social media strategy
  • Manage branding strategy for products in conjunction with product marketing managers
  • Work with partners to create compelling marketing content to address customers’ needs at each stage of the buying cycle
  • Development of literature with support of engineering, product marketing and product management
  • Develop budget estimates and tracking
  • Organizing and managing tradeshows
  • Development and placement of advertising
  • Supervise ad agencies and/or other suppliers of marketing services

Required Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or Advertising or a combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing communications campaign planning, including all online and offline channels
  • Familiarity with software tools for marketing communications, including Salesforce.com, Google Analytics, website content management systems
  • Experience with social media and digital campaign strategies
  • Superior written and oral communication skills 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products and Adobe Creative Suite products required.  
  • Management experience and project management skills required.

Preferred Education Experience, Skills and Abilities

  • 5+ years of experience designing marketing communications plans for industrial companies
  • Experience working with B2B consumers preferred
