Reporting to the Chief of Staff and Head of External Affairs, the General Manager for Winning Home Operations will be a pivotal player in shaping and streamlining the Winning Home division, focusing on logistics, warehousing, installations, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. If you're someone with a strategic mind, a passion for top-tier service, and a drive for continuous improvement, this role has your name on it!
- Design and implement innovative operational strategies that elevate delivery, warehousing, and installation services for our high-end clients.
- Drive improvements in logistics, inventory management, and workflow to maximise efficiency, cut costs, and boost service standards.
- Partner with customer-facing teams to refine every step of the customer journey, ensuring it aligns with our WOW, care, problem-solving, and ownership values.
- Lead an accountable, high-performing team, providing mentorship, conducting regular performance reviews, and championing a positive work culture.
- Work closely with showrooms, supply chain, logistics, and third-party providers to ensure Winning Group's strategic objectives are always met.
- Oversee budget allocation, cost control, and financial reporting for Winning Home Operations, supporting financial and operational goals with strategic insights.
- Ensure all activities meet top safety standards, regulations, and best practices, with an unwavering commitment to quality.
- Cultivate key client relationships and manage technical sales to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by bringing on new suppliers and products as technology advances and customer demand grows.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years in the Control Systems and Automation Industry with strong management experience, particularly with subcontractors, clients, and technicians. Retail, logistics, or service industry experience is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of control systems, wiring, lighting, security, and AV systems.
- Proven success in building partnerships with architects, builders, and engineering consultants.
- Skilled in creating strategies that drive operational and financial efficiency.
- A commitment to delivering a luxury experience at every step of the customer journey.
- Adept at interpreting data, financial metrics, and KPIs to make informed decisions.
- A natural at spotting operational challenges and developing innovative solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
