Job Description

The VP of Talent & HR Business Partnerships is a key member of the HR leadership team. We are seeking an experienced HR leader to drive strategies that build and strengthen organizational culture while ensuring efficiency and organizational alignment. Our ideal candidate will have experience leading strategic HR initiatives across our service centers and region offices and has a proven track record of being a trusted, team focused, results-oriented, HR leader. This role provides leadership by proactively identifying HR needs and executing plans that deliver results to leadership teams and key stakeholders. This position will be a culture carrier for the organization and provide direct support and oversite to the HRBP and Talent Acquisition teams. This role demands a dynamic blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and consultative agility. This person will be a champion for continuous improvement across all HR policies, systems, and processes, ensuring alignment with business goals, ethical standards, and legal frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of uniting business acumen with HR leadership and the ability to implement impactful programs. Key individual attributes are adaptability, entrepreneurial spirit, performance over position, high collaboration, team development, leadership capability development, and high business acumen. This role reports directly to the CHRO.

Essential Functions

  • Drive organizational strategy by understanding company plans and programs as a strategic partner, focusing on the impact on people and culture.
  • Translate business goals into actionable HR strategies with a focus on robust planning, project management, and clearly defined accountability measures.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to bring HR expertise into business and operational discussions, ensuring alignment between HR strategy and overarching business objectives.
  • Build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization to act as an effective problem-solver, change leader, and advocate for the company's values, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Drive performance excellence by ensuring the adoption and accountability of effective performance management frameworks and practices.
  • Create a culture built on accountability and "owner's mindset" and foster a high-performance and positive work environment.
  • Support Talent Acquisition and succession strategies to foster a pipeline of high-performing candidates within and outside the company for critical roles, ensuring robust succession & development plans.
  • Employee Relations: Provide executive guidance on complex employee relations situations and to promote organization health while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Metrics & Analytics: Leverage workforce data and HR analytics to inform business decisions and measure talent ROI.
  • Change Management: Guide executive teams and departments through organization transformations, structural shifts and scaling phases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field of study
  • 15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience at senior/executive level 

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Demonstrated success leading directors and senior managers in a complex matrixed environment
  • Experienced in strategic planning, organizational development, and corporate communications
  • Experienced working with multiple business units and back office.
  • Demonstrated self-motivated operator and leader with the ability to constructively challenge the "usual" ways of looking at things and inspire others to do the same.
  • Expertise as a passionate team leader; someone the team members will respect as a true leader and motivator with the ability to drive results and accountability. A champion of the Wings values.

Additional Information

PAY RANGE: $215,000 to $250,000 annually (S21), plus 20% annual target bonus.
Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, location and internal pay equity.
