We are seeking a skilled and self motivated Java Backend Developer with 3–5 years of experience in developing scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. As a key contributor, you will design, develop, and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and ensure performance, scalability, and security of our backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot)

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and documentation

• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and product managers to deliver quality software on time

• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize backend performance

• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)

• Develop and maintain secure authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, etc.)

• Ensure CI/CD integration and participate in deployment processes

Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies in sprint planning and execution

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot framework

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development

• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis

• Knowledge of message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus

• Good understanding of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines

• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software engineering principles

• Basic understanding of Docker and containerization

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Good communication and team collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Exposure to AWS cloud platforms

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)

• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and testing frameworks 

• Understanding of secure coding practices and application security concepts.
